            How do I open a credit card processing or merchant account?

            You wish to receive credit card payments through your website and need to select a payment processor in order to do so.

            • Basic requirements are listed below:
            • Your organization’s legal name, EIN or Federal ID #, address and phone number
            • Contact person and phone - the organization's E.D, Treasurer, or someone with signing authority on bank accounts
            • Your bank’s name and 9 digit routing number
            • Your bank account number (where you will receive funds)
            • Expected monthly sales volume (includes all credit card funds you will process) & Average credit card sale (donation, ticket sale, etc.)
            • 501(c)3 approval letter from the IRS verifying your non-profit status
